We’re setting up new parties in ACT, NSW, NT, Queensland, SA, Tasmania, Victoria and WA.

At our upcoming members’ conference in June, we will also be voting on changing the name of our federally registered party so that we can run in federal elections across the country. 

If you join today and are from outside Victoria, you will immediately become a member of our federally registered party. 

You will also be part of our state level registration application for your state. We need state level parties registered with the state Electoral Commission to be able to contest state and local government elections.

NSW Socialists, Queensland Socialists, WA Socialists, ACT Socialists, NT Socialists and Tasmanian Socialists will all be aiming to get registered with their state electoral authorities in the coming months.

To do that we need hundreds of members in each state (the number varies from state to state), so we need everyone who supports us to get onboard!
